Studen\u021bii rom\u00e2ni au participat personal (9 studen\u021bi) la sediul Societ\u0103\u021bii Rom\u00e2ne de Geo Schimb \u0219i al Centrului European de Excelen\u021b\u0103 pentru Europa de Est din Oradea, iar ceilal\u021bi (16 studen\u021bi) au urmat cursul online. Este de remarcat faptul c\u0103 5 dintre participan\u021bii rom\u00e2ni sunt doctoranzi la universit\u0103\u021bile de specialitate din Bucure\u0219ti - UTCB - \u0219i Cluj-Napoca, restul de 20 de studen\u021bi \u00eenscri\u0219i fiind speciali\u0219ti \u00een domeniul geotermiei, inclusiv din mediul academic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participarea la toate cele 4 module de curs a oferit cursan\u021bilor posibilitatea de a ob\u021bine o Diplom\u0103 de participare la primul curs din re\u021beaua european\u0103 EcoE, precum \u0219i acces la \u00eentreaga documenta\u021bie GEO4CIVHIC prezentat\u0103 pe parcursul celor dou\u0103 zile de curs (\u00een format electronic). Absolven\u021bii cursului au intrat \u00een grupul de comunicare al re\u021belei ECoE \u0219i vor fi informa\u021bi despre toate nout\u0103\u021bile din domeniu, av\u00e2nd astfel posibilitatea de a intra \u00een contact direct cu speciali\u0219tii ECoE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen calitate de lider al proiectului GEO4CIVHIC, <strong>Doamna Doini\u021ba-Iuliana Cucue\u021beanu<\/strong>, vicepre\u0219edinte al RGS a coordonat acest prim eveniment public \u00een cadrul re\u021belei celor 4 Centre Europene de Excelen\u021b\u0103 - ECoE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen calitate de lectori la modulul I, a c\u0103rui responsabilitate a revenit \u00een \u00eentregime RGS, au participat <strong>Dl Horia Ban<\/strong>, pre\u0219edinte al RGS, <strong>Dna Iulia Prodan<\/strong> - Director pentru proiecte europene RGS, \u0219i <strong>Alexandra Ban<\/strong> - Cercet\u0103tor Termoline, membru RGS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Succesul cursului inaugural al re\u021belei europene de centre de excelen\u021b\u0103 \u00een energia geotermal\u0103 de suprafa\u021b\u0103 subliniaz\u0103 importan\u021ba eforturilor de cre\u0219tere a nivelului de competen\u021b\u0103 \u00een domeniu. The course attracted approx. 70 participants who were experts in our field, as well as PhD and MSc students in surface geothermal energy. Location: The course was held over two days, in a hybrid format &#8211; online and in person at the 4 partner European Centres of Excellence: Spain &#8211; University of Valencia &#8211; Centre of Excellence for Western Europe &nbsp; Course Structure The course was structured in four modules, each addressing important aspects related to surface geothermal energy: MODULE I \u2013 nZEB Buildings, Technical characteristics of calculating the thermal demand in buildings and Application of surface geothermal energy in the rehabilitation of historical and heritage buildings MODULE II \u2013 Geology, Geothermal energy mapping, Environmental impact and Regulations and standards applicable in the field MODULE III \u2013 Innovative methods in geothermal drilling, Increasing the performance of geothermal heat pumps MODULE IV \u2013 Thermal response test &#8211; TRT, Evaluation of TRT results, Decision support systems for sizing geothermal installations Participants Among the 70 participants from all over Europe, 25 students came from Romania. The Romanian students participated in person (9 students) at the headquarters of the Romanian Geoexchange Society and the European Center of Excellence for Eastern Europe in Oradea, and the others (16 students) followed the course online. It is worth noting that 5 of the Romanian participants are PhD students at specialized universities in Bucharest \u2013 UTCB &#8211; and Cluj-Napoca, the remaining 20 registered students being specialists in the field of geothermal energy, including from the academic environment. Participation in all 4 course modules offered the students the opportunity to obtain a Diploma of participation in the first course in the European EcoE network, as well as access to the entire GEO4CIVHIC documentation presented during the two days of the course (in electronic format). Graduates of the course have joined the ECoE network communication group and will be informed about all the news in the field, thus having the opportunity to come into direct contact with ECoE specialists. &nbsp; As the GEO4CIVHIC project leader, Ms. Doini\u021ba-Iuliana Cucue\u021beanu, Vice President of RGS coordinated this first public event in the network of the 4 European Centers of Excellence &#8211; ECoE. Participating as lecturers in module I, whose responsibility fell entirely to RGS, were Mr. Horia Ban, President of RGS, Ms. Iulia Prodan &#8211; Director for European Projects RGS, and Alexandra Ban &#8211; Termoline Researcher, RGS member. The success of the inaugural course of the European network of centers of excellence in surface geothermal energy underlines the importance of efforts to increase the level of competence in the field.
