Between October 17 and 21, 2022, a delegation of the Romanian Geoexchange Society, consisting of the president (Robert Gavriliuc) and vice-president (Doina Cucueteanu), participated in the European Geothermal Congress organized in Berlin by EGEC and the Bundesverband Geothermie.
The congress was a grand event, bringing together representatives of the business environment, the European Commission, scientific research and technological development not only from the European continent, but also from other continents (America, Asia, Africa).
Representatives of the Romanian Geoexchange Society presented the Romanian Report on the use of geothermal energy in the period since the previous similar congress (held in The Hague in 2019), and participated in the scientific and technical events occasioned by participation in the Horizon 2020 GEO4CIVHIC project, as well as in the various scientific sessions within the congress.
