Meet and Greet event for Young Careers in the Geothermal Industry

The need to increase the number of geothermal workforce in Europe: The use of geothermal energy can become an important step for the decarbonization of the energy sector in Europe. The available and untapped resources so far are significant, and the utilization technologies are well developed and have an important portfolio of solutions with a high degree of technological readiness. However, in recent years, it has become evident that the lack of professionals working in the industrial geothermal sector could impose a major barrier to a strong development of the use of geothermal energy in Europe.

This online event aims to establish a connection between young academics and industrial representatives regarding the use of geothermal energy and intends to provide a platform for networking and recruitment.

Ms. Iulia Prodan, member of the Romanian Geoexchange Society as Director for European Projects, will be one of the Keynote Speakers of the event.
