Between June 14 and 15 this year, “Shallow Geothermal Days” took place in Barcelona (Spain).
At this event, Mr. Eng. Horia Ban (General Manager of Termoline Oradea) presented 2 projects regarding the use of surface geothermal energy, projects carried out by the Termoline Company.
An innovative solution for the renovation of the Oradea County Hospital building, with an area of 20,000 sq m, by using geothermal and hybrid heat pumps with a thermal power of 500 kW, using 80 ground heat exchangers (up to a depth of 133 m) and radiant panels for heating and cooling.
An innovative solution for a new 4,000 sq m building, part of the Oradea Emergency Hospital, building heated and cooled by using geothermal and hybrid heat pumps, using 230 11 m deep geothermal piles and thermally activated building systems (TABS).
