On October 17 – the first day of the European Geothermal Congress 2022 – CINEA organized a workshop in the Berlin Congress Center.
The event – organised by CINEA project manager Filipa Vieira Matias – brought together 12 geothermal projects, all funded by the EU.
The projects represented at the meeting were: GEO4CIVHIC, GEOFIT, CRM-geotermal, CROWDTHERMAL, EASYGO-ITN, GECO, GEOTHERM-FORA, GeoSmart, GEOTHERMICA, OPTIDRILL, ORCHYD and REFLECT.
The morning was dedicated to project presentations and policy framework setting.
The GEO4CIVHIC project was presented by the coordinator Dr. Adriana Bernardi.
The presentations were followed by a question and answer session from the participants.
In the second part of the event, the participants participated in 3 consecutive discussion sessions that dealt with “hot topics” of the European projects: Dissemination and exploitation of project results, as well as policy aspects. The discussions were aimed at maximizing impact and results and facilitating potential synergies between projects.
All participants appreciated the quality of the event and the expected results regarding EU-funded geothermal projects.
